Welcome Lauren to the BEAM Team!
What are your responsibilities in this role?
As Project Assistant I am a helping hand for my colleagues, including recruiting participants, being the first point of contact, and booking venues for market research sessions.
How did you get into the Market Research industry?
I previously worked in promotional recruitment which then lead me to market research recruitment. I gained some more experience and then I joined the BEAM team!
What experience do you bring to this role?
Having worked in market research before, I have a good idea of how the industry works. I have always worked in roles working with the public whether that is in hospitality or recruitment, so I am a definite people person and love chatting with different personalities every day, so this is handy when it comes to recruiting respondents for projects.
Are you currently working on any exciting projects?
We are in the process of recruiting for market research groups about cars. It has been interesting seeing a project come together from the start and it will be great to see it being finalised.
What type of clients are you working closely with at the moment?
We are always working with a wide variety of clients, such as Automotive, Utilities and Retail. Every day is different.
Are there any emerging trends in the Market Research Industry that you think could make a big difference?
The market research industry is constantly progressing with the trends. I think the increase in use of technology will make a significant difference.
Tell us more about yourself, what do you like to do outside of work?
I spend a lot of time socialising with my friends, going out to try new bars and restaurants. When I’m not with my friends sipping on a gin, I am researching and browsing all the latest fashion trends, cliché as it sounds I have a PASSION for fashion!
